After leaving LA in 1993 we embarked on a six month trip to see the subcontinent and East Africa.
Looking for an interesting way into the subcontinent we settled on flying into Taipei, Taiwan and
overlanding from there to Nepal via Tibet. Before we left this morphed into overlanding, if possible,
from Taipei into East Africa via Arabia Felix. Once we got to East Africa, momentum just seems to
have carried us along and we didn't stop
until we ran out of continent at the southern tip of South Africa.
